I leave things to the last minute, ok? Assume Lucy has been planning this Halloween Ball for weeks or months. Since the muggle-born camp thing perhaps. Anyway. If anyone else wants to be involved, I thought maybe:

* Weird Sisters for music - possibly Lucy contacted them via Cece? Zoe could also be involved via them somehow, or at least mention her brother or something.
* Remy for music as well maybe? If he's not too busy with Samir ;-)
* A DJ set from Spencer?
* Catering from Mei's restaurant? Maybe with sweet treats from Sweetness and Light?
* ~~Adult entertainment from Sean NO ALISON BAD ALISON.~~
* Evan and Sean can tend bar.
* Decorations/fireworks from George?
* Cass somehow because of St. Mungo's?
* An article on it by Parvati?

And obviously people can attend or be involved in other ways if you can think of them. The above is just off the top of my head :-) Celebrity appearances! We have a few celebrities.

Don't worry, I'm also terrible about planning things in advance. Anyway, about your ideas:

* Zoe could definitely be the link between Lucy and the Weirs Sisters is Cece isn't able to, though she'd be more likely to talk to Heathcote or Donaghan before Myron. If Lucy might also be interested in something else, Zoe's sister Phoebe plays in the WADA orchestra, so that can also be arranged.
* If Julie is okay with Rémy providing music, then I am too. :) It all depends on whether wizarding Britain is appreciative of a French singer. Samir can tag along, and he and Lucy can discuss her idea about a charity exhibit.

And as for celebrity appearances, any of mine can show up. Hamish is not really into showing himself for publicity's sake, but he'll do it for a good cause.

Would it be really greedy to be just like YES ALL THE MUSIC IDEAS ALL OF THEM. It is in a good cause! I might feel a tad guilty about getting a whole orchestra in there for just a short set but... well, they'd have free tickets to the rest of the event, which should be fun?

French accents are sexy as hell. I'm sure people could be persuaded to listen to a short set without knowing the songs or even understanding the words.

	I'm game for it. Although I don't know any french songs. Still if going by the being in planning for months then it's possible Rémy has even learned one or more songs in english for the event? 	Heee sure. It's interesting listening to that and reading the english lyrics and you just think 'hmm yeah it wouldn't sound as good if it was sung in anything other than french'. also the onyl french song that ever pops into my head would be la vie en rose lol... my brain just thought of that song from Hocus Pocus 'I Put a Spell on You' (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Well, whoever did the translation botched things up a bit, as there's bits where "he" or "she" appear in the subtitles as "it", which makes me go o_O as well as other parts where I think "er, this isn't really how you should have translated it." I agree that the way it's told probably works better in French than in English, though. Oh dear. (Reply to this) (Parent)
