Who: George Towler & Rose Weasley
What: Testing Out the Room of Requirement
When: Friday night
Where: ROR
Rating: PG
Status: incomplete
It wasn't any sort of special Friday, unless the night before a quidditch match counted for something. George was feeling a bit nervous about his debut performance (that was, if he was going to get any playing time at all) but not enough to distract him or keep him from sleeping. It was just that he wanted to spend some time with Rose and her proposal of seeing what their imaginations could open up in the Room of Requirement seemed like a good time.
He waited for her in the corridor---the one where everyone knew the Room was located but all pretended like it was some big Hogwarts secret. George knew that prefects and professors wouldn't be so easy to distract if he was simply standing by the entrance looking like he was up to something or waiting for someone, so he was strolling slowly up and down, looking inconspicuous and aloof enough to blow it off if he had to.
In the meantime, George reached into the knapsack he had slung over his shoulder. It contained one of his favorite treats---a sugar quill. He felt around until he had it in his hand and presented it to himself, pleased. This would keep him for a few minutes until Rose arrived.
