Does anyone want to be a part of a grittier post-canon Inception group PSL? We have definitive objectives and plot checkpoints, so the line won't flail and fizzle out as is typical when players begin to lose interest. At present, all canon characters have been filled and most of the OC slots have been fleshed out as well, but we are in desperate need of members of Talon, the client and antagonist of the story.
Briefly about Talon: a seemingly up and above conglomerate with major business interest in oil, in the Middle East region in particular. The Mark is an extractor whom Talon had previously engaged to confirm raw, highly classified intel that the Saudi oil reserves are on the verge of running out. So far, Talon is the only entity outside of KSA that is aware of the situation, and because it wants to keep it that way (in order to use the knowledge to further their future profit), it planned to liquidate The Mark's crew once the job was done. The Mark caught on to the ruse, however, and deliberately botched the job and took the fall for the team, hoping to spare them. The Mark has now hidden away sensitive information as insurance and Talon has hired the canon team (Arthur, at first, and the rest to come for different motives) under false pretext to perform an extraction on The Mark. Talon is seemingly legitimate on the surface, but has shady third party branches doing its dirty work behind the curtains, a fact which Ariadne gets too close to and is subsequently used as a bargaining chip for the canon team to get the job done as promised. It will be revealed early on that The Mark is also suffering from DID, making the job that much more complex. There is also a huge twist thrown in near the end that will change the playing field completely.
Basically, we need someone to represent Talon. Even a middle man will do. The inception of this line is located here for your reading pleasure, though the plot has been heavily developed since that discussion, in a separate locked post. The game will take place on Livejournal. Please comment if you think you might fit the bill!
