Much like most events at FCU, the GLBT had gone all out in preparation of tonight's events. The basketball court was unrecognizable having been converted into a dance floor complete with a DJ booth where one of the more popular DJs from WFCU was spinning a mix of dance music with the occasional slow song tossed in just for flavor.

The recreation room had been converted into a games room for the night, hosting various activities such as a darts tournament, a pool tournament, several different card games, and even a table that was various boardgames such as LIFE and Monopoly, all of which gave students and staff alike the opportunity to not only mingle and get to know one another, but to also win cash and other prizes.

The snack bar had been converted to host an array of food and refreshments, all catered in by one of the best available, with tables set up in the area for people to sit down, relax, and enjoy a bite to eat with one another. The juice bar had even been converted for the night into a bar serving adult beverages to those aged 21 and up. And the lobby area had been converted into a lounge with several large couches and chairs strewn about, the area dimly lit to allow for intimate conversation amongst friends.

In addition to the opportunities for having fun and mingling with friends, the popular film Fight Club was set up and ready for a midnight showing.

Much like the event the weekend before, the entire student activities center had been transformed to match the theme of tonight's event. Security was present at the front door to check ID's of everyone admitted ensuring that no underage students were in attendance. The gym had been transformed into a dance floor with music spun by one of the most popular FCU DJs. The downstairs lounge area had been converted into an intimate and upscale setting where people could get together for a bit of quiet conversation. And the games room was alive yet again with ongoing tournaments of darts and pool.

The most impressive part of the event, however, was the food. There was a buffet set up in the dining area serving all sorts of traditional German delicacies such as a variety of sausages, potato pancakes, giant pretzels and the like along with several desserts such as Apfelstrudel and Black Forest Cake. The juice bar had been transformed into a Biergarten serving a variety of German brews from Warsteiner to Erdinger. For those who don't enjoy beer, there were several German liquors on tap, including Goldschlager, Jagermeister and more. Essentially, any food or drink you would find at an authentic German Oktoberfest was readily available to be sampled and enjoyed. And everywhere one looked, there were catering and wait staff dressed up in traditional German garb to enhance the authenticity of the evening.
