Barbara used her fingers deftly to adjust the black mask that concealed her face. Brushing her red-hair back over a shoulder, she lowered her hands to her belt and slid out a device intended to act like binoculars.
Slowly, Barbara lifted the device to her face and peered through the lenses, searching for any sign of the Riddler. She'd gotten a tip that he'd been spotted in the neighborhood, and while Edward wasn't her favorite person....well, the ache in her back suggested quietly that he was much tamer on the scale of Gotham villians.
The green car rolled into view moments later as if Barbara's thoughts had indeed manifested the man she'd been searching for.
A smirk, and the heroine stuffed the device back into the flap in her belt, waiting for the right time to appear. Barbara had concealed herself well, having learned from the best in Gotham.
The car paused at the curb and the man himself exited the vehicle, adjusting the fabric of his green suit as he perched on the sidewalk for all to see.
