I'm Sigi, newly joined, and my character is Barty Crouch Jr from Harry Potter book fandom. I've played lots of characters from HP but this is my first time for Barty so it should be fun and interesting.

	Yes that sounds really promising. I can't wait until the first charrie discovers they can go back to their own world sort of. Perhaps just to mess more with Barty, the Wizarding World might not have Voldie or he's still young teen Riddle or something. 	Wow, I can only imagine how he'd feel if the people from his reality treated him differently than Steven's used to. The shift in everyone's reality adds an extra layer to explore, beyond the "I'm in a strange place how do I get out?" feeling. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

So I have this right- it's just the PDA in the bag and no other computer or anything electronic?

BTW I'm enjoying the thread. Steven's interesting. Does he just like to steal for the fun of stealing? I mean, would he like to take Barty's or anyone else's PDA even if he already has his own? What's his 'philosophy' of thievery, lol?

	:) No, they also have a Netbook, a small laptop that's useful for going on the internet. Steven's kleptomania is due to a curse placed upon him. All the demons of his world have a curse. Ah so Barty's got a lot to learn. I don't think he knows how to type, which seems strange to me, but why would he? Even if he took Muggle Studies.

Oh yeah, I'll read your charries' profiles more slowly. I did quick scans of all the characters after being accepted but need to absorb more of the info.

Ok, I have one more question and then I'll quit with the pestering. :)

When someone gets their vehicle, what happens if they drive/fly out of the city? Can they go into countryside or nothingness forever or do they get turned around by a mysterious force? Because you know he's going to try flying away from Fallen Point.

Hi!!! Welcome to the game!

I'm so excited to see Barty in here! Should be fun. :D

I'm Alej and for the moment I have two charies here:

Laura Moon (this journal) is from American Gods by Neil Gaiman. If you know the fandom, that's epic. If not, in a nutshell: she's dead basically. The thing that keeps her "alive" is the gold coin around her neck. It'd probably be easier to just skim over her bio. :)

River Tam (meimeialbatross) from Firefly. If you know the series she's taken after Objects in Space for obvious reasons. If not well she is a tortured seventeen year old. She is a reader of sorts which means she can see a person's entire past and general immediate future events as well as read people's minds. The government found her useful and experimented on her brain over and over (just a warning...she has no amigdala so beware of the crazy mood swings. Happy one second...drawing a knife on you the next)

My AIM is Adanesne2 so feel free to hit me up with any plot whenever. I'm pretty open to anything. :)

Hi Alej! Thanks for the nice welcome.

I don't know much about either American Gods nor Firefly but that's cool since Barty doesn't know who your charries are anyway. I'd love to rp him against both of them. I hate to admit that so far the only thing I've read by Neil Gaiman is "Stardust" but that was brill so I should probably read more from him. He's very talented.

However I have been in rps which had a Laura Moon and a River so I'm a little bit familiar with those two ladies. Both should be fun for Barty to meet. If either would be out at night, feel free to bring one into Barty's intro post. It's not like anything's happening there which has to be locked between Valefar and Barty. And if not I'll certainly be posting once he's gone to find out where he lives and meet them a bit later.

Sorry I don't have AIM as it's eaten my comp and spit it out in the past so I don't like it. But I'm online pretty much every day so email (midnightheart@att.net) or IJ pms work for me.

Hello! I'm a bit late on the greetings and all, but hey, better late than never, right?

I'm Amy, and I play Der Tod (aka, Death) from Elisabeth, the best musical no one has ever heard of. It's a German musical, but just to complicate things further, I'm pulling Der Tod from the 2007 Japanese Takarazuka production.

I'm excited to get a Barty though! He's a character I don't see too often, so it'll be interesting to see him in action!

Ah you're right, I'm also not familiar with 'the best musical no one has ever heard of'. Where did you see "Elisabeth" if I might ask?

I have seen a couple of Bartys here and there. Honestly, the main reason his muse came to me was because of my dislike for a bad portrayal (the mun didn't even use David Tenant for their pb), when I started getting ideas to answer questions I had about his backstory. And voila! I think I have someone fun to play.

I haven't tried MSN messenger. If it's like AIM and comes with a lot of ads, I don't think I want to either. But when more ideas come, I'll be sure to email or PM you, thanks. And feel free to likewise contact me if you get some possible inspiration.

Of course Barty doesn't know what the future he's taken from holds for him but I think it fascinating to play him against Death.

Ah, I was exposed to Eilsabeth through the Takarazuka productions, and there's a decent number of clips of it up on YouTube. I think there's clips of the German productions as well, but I keep getting distracted by the shiny Takarazuka stuff and forget to search... I've heard the original soundtrack though (thanks to an ebay auction for the CD), and I've sunk an insane amount of money into DVDs of the various 'Zuka productions.

Isn't in funny how bad rp can lead to inspiration for good rp? I look forward to playing with him.

Ah, see I run both AIM and MSN through a program called Adium so I don't get any sort of ads. And I can see my buddies from both on one list. Nice little client program.

Cool, I'll check that out on YouTube. This is just one reason I like multifandom -- I learn about fandoms I'd not hear about otherwise. I'm a smidge bitten by the 'Japanese bug' but my fandom is Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. I never played the games but I love the film nonetheless.

I'm obviously looking forward to rp with your charrie too. Barty's not done with his first thread yet but after that, wheeeee! More fun ahead.

I'm dubious about AIM no matter what. If I have more time and get curious, I'll check out what Adium's about. Just depends.

Anyway, thanks for the nice welcome again and I'll see what ideas percolate once Barty's settled in. If you have any ideas, I hope you're not shy about contacting me.
