Kotetsu was just about to straighten up, survey his traps, when something dropped down his armor.
"Yaaah!"
He instantly clapped a hand across his mouth - mission, you idiot! - and squirmed, trying to get whatever it was out of his... armor. Thank all the gods that it was just in his armor.
It did mean, however, that he had to stay hunched, in order to get a hand in. Because when standing up, the armor was fitted snug to his body, like it was molded for him. His fingers snagged hold of... something small, roundish, strangely rough.
A pinecone. He stared at it for a moment, and looked up to see Hayate not-quite-laughing.
"... you..." he started, frowned, and picked up a handful of dusty snow. See if Hayate still could not-laugh like that with a face full of snow! |
