"'S nice that ANBU comes complete with rescue parties, y'know?" Kaito fumbled, looking anywhere but at the man. He'd needed a rescue party for a stupid seduction mission! And now the guy was hurt, and Kaito was still naked and would be until his feet were untied--
He jerked himself to a stop. It wasn't like he'd never been in a worse position, and, okay, being stuck in the middle of a damn seduction mission was utterly humiliating--
STOP! This guy probably hadn't even noticed he was naked, anyway. People didn't care about things like that. Really.
Besides, Kaito had a job. The guy--Raidou--had given him a job.
Turn the chest-hurting thing off. That was as good a name for it as any, he supposed.

Just--off.
Off. Stop. Halt. Quit. Like--things spiraling down. Shutting it off. Flipping a switch. Think of his mother's eyes swirling to silver, and then back to brown. Off. No big deal. Anyone could do it. All of his clan could.
