"Who said anything about wanting your sweater?" Tsume grumped, plopping down on the cot and falling sideways until her head hit his ribs. She felt him jump, but ignored it. Her legs curled close, hands tucking near her chest. The steady thump-thump of his heartbeat made her drowsy. Steady breathing lulled her into safety.
Whether it was sleep or unconsciousness, she was out before she'd even really settled. She didn't dream. |
