Penny's eyes fell on the other girl as she stood, brushing grass from her hair. She looked a mess, truth be told, but Penny was relieved all the same. Not only did the girl look to be nonthreatening, but she seemed to be about her own age and friendly enough. Lucky looked as though he wanted to go investigate further but fortunately, Penny's command kept him by her side.
"I'm sorry if we've disturbed you," Penny offered politely, halting the mare at a respectful distance. She wasn't entirely certain what the girl was doing being that she herself had little experience with these sorts of things but she certainly was curious. "We were just passing through and Lucky here takes it upon himself to announce everyone's presence to me. He means no harm, though. I hope he didn't frighten you."
