Adelle looked at the floor stubbornly. What would the Madame know anyways, she was like three hundred! When her eyes peered up again, she had a sudden uneasy feeling. Never before in her life had Adelle seen the Madame in such a sad mood. It was very foreign and, quite frankly, terrifying. Adelle wasn't sure she wanted to know what it is that would make the Madame so upset.
With a slight hesitation, she plucked the paper from the woman's hands and stared down at it perplexed. Her eyebrows knitted together and her stomach seemed to drop.
"What's this?" she asked, looked up at the Madame angrily. "You're sending me away!?"
