Thomas gave a simple nod, turning to find a mug for Vaan and filling it with water from a barrel under the bar that held clean drinking water. He slid the mug across to Vaan- he'd learned some time ago that the sorcerer didn't need the refreshment, but Thomas wasn't one to question if he'd asked for it.
"Frustrated with what?" he prompted. Thomas knew he might not understand some- or perhaps even most- of what Vaan studied, but he could at least offer a sympathetic ear.
