The Madame groaned. This pitiful looking thing did nothing but annoy her right then.
"You should be happy. You have a great life here, one that I very generously gave you, even after that incident. I don't want you making the whole house miserable." She tapped her fingers on the edge of the chair for a moment, toying with a thought. Finally, after what seemed to be a long time she gave out a heaving sigh.
"Go downstairs and talk to the cook, tell her I sent you and that you can have some of the fresh pie that's in there. But after that, no eating until tomorrow." The Madame was slightly disappointed at her own lack of control, and fidgeted slightly.
