Male humans are habitually very respectful of females." There were exceptions, of course, but Era didn't need to know that right now.
"Relax, little one," this was added quieter, her voice having returned to its soothing sound- Emi was used to dealing with hysterical mothers and young children, and in a way Era was very much a child, even more so than she had been as a dragon. "You are safe with me."
