"Oh, I can assure you, know is more relieved than I am that it wasn't the Grey Death," Penny assured Matt, though her laugh was slightly nervous when she said it. It was difficult to even think about the Grey Death without feeling a bit nervous about it; to talk about it felt like tempting fate. "I am glad that I am no longer causing people to worry. I don't like to make people worry."
Penny considered what Matt was saying and realized that she had never really thought too much about life in the palace. "What do you think a princess does all day?" she thought aloud. "Other than sneaking into town, that is. I imagine she goes to a great deal of balls and parties, but I suppose that could be a misconception from reading too many stories. If I ever see her again, I think I will as her. Well, I will if I can remember how to speak normally and not stutter as though I had never spoken before. And goodness, take advantage of her? Who would do such a thing?" It had never crossed naive Penny's mind to take advantage of the princess and she had a hard time imagining why someone would do such a thing.
