Angie was a terrible lier. That she knew. What she didn't count on were people detecting what a terrible lier she was. She had an inkling of a clue that Edric was "in on it" when she saw his eyebrows raise in suspicion. If he didn't know, there was no point in forcing her hand. Whether or not he was playing along for her sake, Angie decided he was a good sort. "A pleasure Mr. Caudley," she said sweeping him a curtsy.
If Edric had expected her to react vehemently to his occupation though, she took no notice. She proceeded to commence in the opposite direction: "Oh really! My brother does too! Though probably not in the capacity you do." She hope she didn't give too much away. Did other people hunt for fun too? "It's a sport?" she said hesitantly, chalking up her outburst. She didn't take pleasure in seeing things killed, but she understood - to some extent - the necessity of it.
