Penny couldn't help but continue to laugh with her sister, though she felt a little guilty doing so. After all, it wasn't very nice to think of putting her mother through what would be absolute torture for her, even if the mental image was entertaining at least. "I assure you, I would never allow that to happen with Lucky," Penny said quickly. "I think I'd be truly afraid to ever see Mother that angry!" Their mother could be quite formidable, after all, and even if Gen had no fear of her, Penny certainly did.
"It was a bit of a surprise," Penny said cautiously, not wanting to outright say that she had expected the princess to be spoiled. "I can't say I know very much about royal life, either. I think I just expected her to be... different than us. She just seemed quite... normal, I suppose. It was nice." Penny's grin widened when Gen complimented her mare; Penny did have quite an affection for her animals and though she didn't quite have the connection with her horse that Gen did, her recent adventures had made her appreciate the mare more and more and look at her with increasing affection. "She is wonderful, isn't she? I feel so lucky Father picked her out for me. She's just perfect for me and so lovely."
