Penny was pleased at Gen's understanding, at least, particularly since other than Gen, Lucky really was the best friend that Penny had. "I know, he is a bit strange to be a house pet, isn't he?" Penny giggled slightly. She supposed that just as Gen defied conventions, she had her own little defiance in the form of dog. She didn't know what she would do without him, in any case. "I really think he's going to love Dara, though," she mused, rubbing the little kitten's soft fur. "And I think she'll get used to him. I am excited to have a new little friend!" Leave it to Penny to collect unconventional house pets!
"My friends? Well, I've not seen much of them, I'm afraid. I haven't had much opportunity to get out lately. The one time I've gotten into town, well, I had a bit of a mishap..." Penny frowned slightly, recalling the fact that she had nearly run over a princess. "I would like to go back when I have a chance, though."
Penny grinned at Gen's description of her work to make her home. "I am sure you did a wonderful job," Penny assured her. "I will make you something though, I promise! I just need to work out what it is. I'll look around and see what inspires me," she giggled. Such things excited Penny, who looked forward to the little things about keeping a home. "I know, I just want to help," Penny grinned.
