Penny smiled when Gen was positive about the idea of Lucky coming with her for an overnight visit. It would make it all that much better if she could have him with her and not worry over him being at home. "I'm sure he'll behave himself, he always does," Penny assured Gen. "I won't let him cause even an ounce of trouble, I promise! He's a good boy." Penny always seemed to smile when she spoke of her dog, her baby.
"I believe you," Penny insisted at Gen's description. "I have always dreamed of falling in love and having my happily ever after, you know that. I just have to believe that it's there for me and I need to wait patiently." It was naive of Penny to just hope and assume that it would come to her and Gen was not wrong to worry over her idealistic twin sister. And though Penny was growing into her own, she certainly wasn't as strong without her sister by her side.
Penny smiled to her twin, teaching out to put a hand on her arm. "It's okay, Gen, I know you're just looking out for me. That's what sisters do," she replied. "Besides, I am having fun, I promise. It's so wonderful to be away from the house for the day."
