Molly did laugh when Rena dropped the stone - not at Rena, but at herself. "I'm sorry. I should have explained my intent better." Molly was more used to company who quickly picked up on these things. She had been the one struggling to keep up with her friend. But Jaime was quick like that.
Molly was impressed that Rena was able to find the correct stone. They usually looked the same to her. But the flat edge made this one unique.
"I'd be glad to show you how to skip them. I'm still learning myself, but we could practice together. We could even work on it when it's too cold to be in the water." Because it would be a good idea to get Rena used to just being near it. Molly didn't want her to backslide from the progress she was making. And one day alone wasn't going to help her.
