Rena was not one easily embarrassed and she certainly wasn't prone to blushing but she did let her eyes fall to her feet. "I'm not sure what she thinks," she admitted, lifting her eyes once more. "I have assured her time and time again that there is nothing romantic between us and there never has been but I can't be sure if she's convinced." Rena sighed, finding the conversation a little awkward considering she hadn't ever harbored such thoughts and it seemed as though she was a fool for not even having considered that Abby might suspect as much.
"Thank you, Thomas. For you confidence, for your reassurance, for everything. I want to be a part of all of your lives and I hope it works out that way," she offered with a slight, tentative smile.
