Rena nodded, understanding exactly what Thomas meant. While she certainly didn't know Abby as well as Thomas did, she had been around her enough to know that she was a quiet woman by nature. She could generally also tell from her mannerisms when she was avoiding her, which was often enough since her arrival at the pub.
"No, I am sure it's been obvious in my behavior as well," Rena replied honestly. "We had a conversation a few days ago," she explained with a soft sigh. "It was going very well, I really thought we were getting past everything, moving forward and such. All of a sudden she said something about me raising the baby with you instead. I guess I shouldn't have talked to her about the baby at all I just thought... I was trying to be supportive. But I won't interfere..."
