"Me, too," was all Rena could say as Abby took her things and turned away. She hadn't meant to upset her, hadn't meant to disrupt the flow of her life, but it was done and there was little else she could do about it at this point in the game. It left her feeling helpless and if there was one thing Rena hated at this point in her life was to feel helpless.
Rena rose from her seat and walked to the bar, where she took out a rag and went to go wipe down the table. When all else failed, she always had her job to do and that, at least, made sense to her.
