"Perhaps, but I wouldn't know what to do with it. I certainly wouldn't keep things running as smoothly as you have." Abby would concede that much, certainly. She was still learning more about the inn every day, after all, and she didn't feel capable enough to run things on her own if needed. But thankfully it hadn't come to that, and Abby turned her attention to some of the bacon on her plate.
"No, I don't imagine they would have." Abby gave a soft sigh, shaking her head as she thought back over that night. She still hadn't gotten over the fact that she'd killed a person, no matter how terrible the Madame had been. "I'm only glad to have them back, and that we no longer have to worry about that awful woman."
