Ismenia noted the way Eleanore's inflection seemed to change slightly when she spoke of the beauty of her home court and she imagined that the other woman did indeed miss her home. Ismenia being who she was, however, the thought was stored away as potentially useful information, even if she might have felt the same thing in a similar situation. Still, she kept her expression neutral and interested.
"I am sure it would be a worthy experience," Ismenia replied, which was a true statement. After all, much influence could gained abroad. But that was another concern for another day. "What made you decide to journey to our court?" she inquired. She imagined that Eleanore might not answer truthfully; she probably wouldn't in the same situation. All the same, she was interested in what she would say.
