Rena observed the way that Molly seemed to drift off into her thoughts and even though she still sat before her, Rena imagined that she was far away. It was clear that the sea was important to Molly and she wondered all the more what it was like.
When Molly said that she got distracted from her meal, she could only laugh. "I understand what you mean," she replied. "I believe I've done the same on more than a few occasions. Sometimes I get wrapped in what I'm doing and I forget that I'm hungry until my stomach loudly protests." It was one of the curses of being able to get entirely wrapped up in what she was doing!
Rena smiled when Molly mentioned that she enjoyed the company. "Aye, the company is good," she agreed, her smile widening at the way Molly's face seemed to light up, an endearing quality. "I haven't had many tales to listen to, I am afraid to say, though I enjoy it when entertainers or travelers come through and share their stories."
