Gabby smiled as he moved with her, pulling a seat out and motioning for him to make himself comfortable as she moved the tea packages to the sideboard, pulling a drawer open and carefully placing them in with some of the others. It was a bit of a make-shift workstation; rather than devote an entire room, which she thought she might do eventually anyways, she liked to work down here where the sunlight came in through the windows.
"How long would you be gone for, if you did leave with them?" She couldn't help but ask her question, turning back to Vaan. "Although- perhaps that shouldn't matter; it would be for a good cause, after all. And perhaps- perhaps you could find a cure." That would be a good thing, wouldn't it? The fact that she would miss one of her dearest friends was unimportant, in the grand scheme of things-- especially if they found a cure.
"Myself? Well enough, I suppose. The shop keeps me busy- I'm beginning to think I might need some help there, soon. There's only so much that I can do on my own, after all. Domenic's brought me a few new books to read, and I've been enjoying those. I'm not really sure what else to say- I'm afraid I live a rather boring life. It's nothing quite so glamorous as your life in the castle, I'm sure."
