"Ah, well thank you," he said with another deep bow and a smile. As soon as she started into the next room he was at her side, floating a few inches above the ground. Noticing he paused and quickly landed on the floor. It was hard to stay put when he was in such a good mood.
Vaan nodded, "Oh yes, company is always very uplifting. A few of the knights in the neighboring kingdom are starting on an expedition to search for a cure. Our King has asked me to accompany them, but I have not decided if I want to go yet." It was a difficult decision to make. If he did go, he would be gone for a few months. He could come back to Greenville whenever he wanted, he could fly fairly fast, but the knights would need him around.
His smile softened, "Well it looks very good." He had been one of the first notified about Gabby's mother dying and that was what spurred the King to send for Vaan. "So! How have you been? Besides your shop and everything?" he asked, offering her a smile.
