"Yes, we'll definitely go down there together once things settle down," she echoed, smiling sleepily as she settled herself into the pillows. She wouldn't go to sleep just yet, she told herself, not just yet. In a way, she wished the night would last forever, just her and her twin finding a sort of peace together. It was nice, though she was beginning to struggle to keep her eyes open.
Stifling another yawn, Penny addressed her sister again. "I wonder if the story won't have to wait until tomorrow," she commented with amusement, though she didn't regret it. As much as she adored her sister's stories, she had found the time the spent together far more valuable for all that they had shared.
