Penny smiled dreamily as Gen described a scene that only someone like Penny would find romantic. "Isn't love just a form of madness?" Penny offered with a slight giggle. "At least, it seems as much in all of the tales, what with all the crazy things people do for love!" Despite her words, the tone with which she spoke made it clear that Penny found this wonderful and desirable rather than foolhardy. After all, the girl was a hopeless romantic with only the stories of love as a guide.
"I'm sure that's all it is," Penny assured her sister, putting an gentle hand on her sister's arm and offering a smile. That done, she began to move toward the huge, four-poster bed draped in rose-colored hangings. Penny began to pull back the coverlet, exposing the soft sheets underneath.
