"Thank you," Gen replied, her voice soft. She lifted her hair out of the way as Penny stepped behind her to unlace her dress. Her own thoughts wandered back to the old memories, and she idly wondered how long it had been since she'd stayed with her sister until she'd slept-- it had been some time, at least.
"Thank you," she said, blushing faintly. She snorted with laughter at the next, then stepped forward to step out of her dress. "That great oaf was a fool, if he thought he'd actually have me without my having a say in it all." Gen turned to look back at her sister. "I can't help but wish Julius had seen it. Not that he cares so much about this finery, but-" She broke off, shaking her head. "I wonder where he is."
