Who: Walburga & Orion
What: Waking up...
When: Saturday morning
Where: Walburga's room
Rating: Sort of medium but also sort of not?
The night before, Walburga hadn't wanted to be alone. There were things she hadn't talked about and things she had no intention of speaking of. Especially when it concerned the random set of men's pajamas she just happened to have lying around. It didn't seem like a good idea to explain to Orion about how she'd been a man for almost two weeks once. Those were certainly dark and confusing days.
So she'd chosen not to explain it at all. Instead, she just shoved them at him and said something along the lines of, "Well, you can't sleep in your clothes, Orion. Don't argue about it, just put them on." before getting herself ready for bed. There had been a slight awkwardness on her side for some reason she couldn't explain when she'd returned from the bathroom. There hadn't seemed any logical reason for it. She was with her husband, so it wasn't improper. Her bed clothes were appropriate. Whatever it was, she'd decided to ignore it and go to sleep, which was nice. Actually. Strangely.
Another thing to file away and examine later.
It was the sun streaming through the windows that woke Walburga up the next morning. At first she'd just tried to squeeze her eyes shut and press her face against Orion's shoulder to keep from waking up, to hold onto sleep for just a little longer. Only it didn't work. There was the slightest pout as she felt her mind starting to wake itself up more.
It was only after a few minutes that she noted any strangeness. Orion was still there, which meant the magic hadn't sent him to his room. Propping herself up on an elbow, Walburga peered at him in an effort to see if he was awake. "Orion?" A pause. "Are you awake?" All the while, she kept her voice quiet, just in case he wasn't.
