The pooka shivered under the hungry stare of the wolf as it looked him up and down, not sure why the look creeped him out so much as it was more than just the possibility of being eaten alive. He'd never felt fear quite like this before, even when the Nightmare had hit his family.
He lifted a free hand and wiped at his face to get the saliva off, doing little to nothing to clean his face up. "I didn't m-mean to upset you?" he tried again, trying to think his way out of this situation, trying to find why it was happening. "I won't, I'll leave you alone if you just, please, could you let me go? It hurts..." he pleaded, tugging a little at the harsh grip on his wrist, taking a couple of steps back even though he was still trapped.
