Work. There was much work to be done, in so many regards. Gabrijel had his hands full even if he didn't show it - he was a good actor among other things. Suddenly being the ipso facto leader of a court was a lot. Overwhelming even, and worse he felt he couldn't share that with anyone because he was supposed to be strong for his people. He merely nodded his head those, his expression carefully schooled into something politely friendly.
"I am well also, thank you," he said with the smooth politeness that had been groomed in him. His head tilted again and he paused to take a sip of his wine before continuing.
"I suppose it has been a while," he agreed, trying to think back to the last meeting that had taken place. Well, before the Nightmare, at least, when things were normal. "There hasn't been much time for socializing these past number of months." What with the plague springing up, and people dying all around, and having to flee to and settle in the mortal realm.
Setting his wine glass down, Gabrijel plucked one of the menus from its holder with nimble fingers. Flipping it open, his bright blue eyes dropped to briefly scan the contents. "Are you eating anything, or just here for a drink?" he asked, eyes lifting once more. Gabrijel liked the food at the L&U, knowing that the cooks were fae and made things properly.
