When Gabrijel confirmed that it was him, Cessair's smile became even warmer. She was genuinely happy by this news. It cheered her up to know that another prince or princess from the Seelie Court was alive. She had no problems with the Seelie Court. It was the Unseelie court that she had a problem with.
Cessair took a small sip from her own glass of wine before answering Gabrijel. She wrinkled her nose and smiled a little, suggesting that things could be better. "I am terribly busy with the Faerie Network. There is so much work to be done." There was a slight ominous tone to that sentence. She didn't want to mention the Nightmare directly. She thought it would be rude to bring up death in a conversation with someone she had not seen in a while.
Still, these days, it was difficult to not mention the Nightmare in some way.
Her smile brightened briefly to contrast with any hinted at gloominess. "However, I am faring well. And yourself? I have not seen you in some time."
