[ROGER THAT GURL, IJ ATE MY POST.]
Sheikah caught that brief glance of sadness. Logically she linked it to the Nightmare. It was no secret that the sudden epidemic screwed them all over; tearing families apart, separating loved ones and causing a scene of mayhem to the point that even the courts were disbanded. She even lost family, but at that point she wasn't close to them. And, well, she didn't have any friends so it's not like there was much to mourn for her.
All she thought of was the death. All the screaming that had become painful. Each scream belonged to a person marked, and she could remember their faces in her mind as if they were still haunting her.
But at least the upcoming death would put them to peace from it all. She tried to look at it that way, even if her own views of death often varied and conflicted against each other.
"It's a secret," Sheikah replied with a smile that turned rather eerie. "I'm trying to think of all this as a...new start."
