The Seelie Prince was rarely out without a guard or some sort, and in truth, that was the case today. Even if said guard was not visible, and was lingering far behind him to give Gabrijel some sense of independence. He did not think any trouble would come but one never knew. Especially when he was the last member of his family left alive and Heir Apparent to the crown. Gabrijel was none so naive to think that he was safe, even in the mortal realm.
Perhaps especially in the mortal realm.
He was out doing a bit of poking around and shopping because he had needed to get out of his current home, and he did like the notion of human stores. There were nothing at all like markets in Faerie, instead with shops in lines on streets or all together in malls. Currently he was heading down the street, some people glancing at him as he was wearing a neon purple tunic style shirt over skinny jeans and electric yellow knee high boots, with giant bug-eyed sunglasses covering his eyes. Humans - and many fae - assumed he was a woman, and he didn't much care.
He had been to Between the Lines twice before, and liked the smell of old books and the section of books from and about Faerie. Passing through the doors, long white-blonde hair swishing behind him, he glanced around before heading up to the counter. Gabrijel offered a smile, and flipped his sunglasses up onto his head.
"I'm looking for books on faerie tales," he said, and then paused and added, "Ones written by humans. I've heard they wrote them, at least, and I wanted to read some." To read the human take on magic and what not would be amusing, he thought.
