Thorn, as it would turn out, had been relatively busy that evening, which was great because that kept him busy. Thorn was the type who liked to be busy. He had been serving drinks all night, and had even helped get a few dances going. It was a proven fact, the more people dance the thirstier they get, and the thirstier they got, the more they would drink. He served each drink with a smile, and an especially big smile when he made a human styled drink. It was rare that he had that opportunity. Humans were funny creatures, and he loved to watch them, not that there had been any at the Fort.
Thorn leaned back against the bar and sighed satisfactorily. Who would have thought being a bartender could be so fulfilling. He enjoyed the vines and flowers on the stone wall. He occasionally made them bloom and flower, which gave the bar a very floral smell. Nothing overwhelming, but a subtle soft smell that made your nose tickle with flowery delight. He watched as the other Fae danced and had a good time. They laughed, danced, and laughed more. Thorn loved to see people happy, especially the patrons. Realizing that he had been idle too long he quickly got back to work and began to wipe down the counter, cleaning up a sticky mess left behind by a very clumsy patron. He did not complain though, and cleaned with a smile. Even as he completed mundane tasks, he seemed to have a natural rhythm, and seemed that every movement was fluid and could be some sort of dance, if he wasn't holding a rag in his hand. He had been told on several occasions that it was fun to watch him as he tended the bar because each movement was flourished and each step was a dance.
