Summary: Dean meets a girl in a nightclub.
Word Count: 300
He had been going through his life mechanically since he had made the deal and Sammy had woken up from the dead. He acted just how he knew his brother expected him to act: like he didn’t give a damn about his impending fate. He chased after hot girls, drank lots of cheap booze and made a hundred cheap remarks about his deal with the devil. After all, if Sammy even guessed that he had done anything but accepted his fate, then he’d really search for a way out and a way out would result in Sam’s death (again.)
And then he had met her in a smoky nightclub where everyone was dancing to the throbbing music that was so loud that he couldn’t even hear what Sam was saying even though his brother was shouting in his ear. She moved with a fluidity that the other dancers around her lacked, and she moved without a care in the world. Her movement was an invitation that everyone seemed afraid to take.
Without a thought, he moved towards her and he forgot about Sam for the first time since he was four years old and his father had yelled at him to get his brother out of the house. He was a fly attracted to her honey and apparently the only one brave enough to take her up on her offer. He forgot all about his father’s lessons about demons, monsters and other creatures that were supposed to be myth and legend only but weren’t.
He even forgot that he couldn’t really dance as he allowed himself to be pulled into her movements. He clumsily moved in time to the music and he felt as if his heart was going to burst when she opened her eyes and smiled at him.
