[BTVS] Plots & Plans 1/1, FR13
This was going to be a simple little drabble about Angelus actually having feelings about Buffy, well more than just wanting to kill her but Spike and Drusilla insisted on having a larger role so it from just over 100 words to over 500 words.

Summary: Spike’s been plotting against Angelus.
Her lips were blue with death and her eyes were filmed over and Angelus was furious. He turned to face his minions as well as Spike and Drusilla; his face was a mask of pure rage. Angelus had specifically commanded his minions to leave her alone, just as he had with Spike and Drusilla. He could tell by the way that Drusilla was cowering in fear that she had had nothing to do with the Slayer’s death, but he was certain that she knew who was responsible. Although he had his suspicions that it was Spike behind Buffy’s untimely demise and the artful arrangement of her corpse on the table, he wanted to make sure it was. There’d be no sense in punishing the whelp for something he hadn’t done, especially since he wanted to make a statement that his orders were not to be ignored.
“Tell me my girl who did this?” Angelus snarled as he gripped Drusilla’s chin.
“I don’t know, I was a good girl, I swear,” Drusilla insisted as she trembled with fear.
“Your wind and stars were silent about the death of a Slayer? Miss Edith spoke of no treachery and treason in my midst? How odd that is.”
“Miss Edith has been bad and she is being punished and the wind has been silent for me.” “But the stars haven’t have they, my dark princess?”
“No, they haven’t,” Drusilla whispered.
“And who do the stars say is to blame for this, poppet?” Angelus demanded as he loosened his grip on Drusilla and pulled her to him so that he was holding her against his chest, “Tell me and I will punish them for being naughty.”
“It w-was Spike, please don’t harm him, he didn’t mean it. The stars told him to do it for it would make him strong and she was just a nasty, filthy Slayer,” Drusilla whispered, as her eyes filled with tears.
Angelus shoved her away from him as he roared in rage, he should have known better. He knew that he should have staked the ungrateful bleached blond when he first came back. As he made his way over to where Spike was sitting in his wheel chair, smirking at him, Angelus ignored Drusilla’s pitiful whimpering. He would not spare Spike because she had turned him or because she thought she loved him, as far as Angelus was concerned Spike had taken something that was his and had destroyed it. Now Spike was going to learn a very painful lesson. Angelus snarled as he grabbed Spike by his shirt and pulled him up to his feet.
Just as he was about to punch Spike to wipe the annoying smirk off of his face, Angelus woke up with a snarl. He took in the familiar site of the master bedroom of the mansion and he realized that he had just had a prophetic dream. If he was not careful, Spike would snatch the Slayer right from under his nose, and knowing the powerful blood in the Slayer’s veins, it would cure him. However, Angelus was not about to let that happen. Buffy was his to play with, not Spike’s. He smirked as he dragged on his leather pants, when Spike awoke, he’d have quite the surprise on his hands. Instead of plotting to neutralize Buffy, he’d have to deal with a newly turned vampire who would be ravenous.
