She told him that he didn't have to sleep outside, and even if he didn't. If by some chance her father trusted them enough to let him shack up with her or sleep on the couch at the very least, the point was, he'd be there. Julian wasn't like normal werewolves whose senses started to peak a few days before and after the full moon. Now they REACHED their peak around then, but Julian was always on alert, regardless of the moon phase it was on.
It was how he could tell if people were following him, how he could tell before someone started their shit with him. He could feel someone coming before they even turned the corner, he had very keen hearing and smell. So he was confident, regardless of where he was, as long as he was on her property, he could keep the Vipers at bay.
"We'll figure something out." He told her. He'd talk to her father personally if he had to. She spoke of staying at his house for the night and he nodded, that could work. Or at the new house? "No." He told her. "Not there, when you're there, I want to be there." And he couldn't be there during a full moon. Well, he could but Lord help anyone who approached the property.
He looked her over as she asked her question in regards to his parents. "My mom wouldn't mind." He told her and his dad? His dad would be outside going through similar things as he was. His father had been attacked as a young man by a werewolf and started to become one himself. When Sanjay was born, they were nervous because they didn't know if the werewolf gene would have gone to him but as time went on, it seemed to have passed him completely.
Now Sanjay was not without abilities. He was faster than a normal person, he had stronger abilities than the others. But he wasn't a werewolf. When Julian came along, they figured he would be the same as his brother, normal with some special features and at first things were normal, until he was around five and first turned into a werewolf himself.
But it wasn't all bad, it was a bonding moment between father and son. Which probably never would have happened because for some reason, Edward had always intimidated Julian. Now he wasn't a bad father, he wasn't. He didn't beat on his kids, he didn't belittle them. But he was... cold. If that could have been the right way to describe him. He wasn't a man of many words and you felt like you had to please him and when he didn't seem thrilled, well, you felt it. But having that with his dad, created some bond there. One that probably wouldn't have been created otherwise because he found himself more of a mama's boy.
