WHO: Mya and John WHERE/WHEN: Early evening, Bus station WHAT: Second bus arrival to this city..
The last few days went by in what felt like a flash. Information being thrown at her while also being extracted from her. Everything just felt so big at the moment. The last thing she remembered was fighting some vamps and then waking up in a bed in the council headquarters. Bite marks covering her body and she had no idea how she had gotten any of them. All she knew is that she was grateful to be alive at the moment. The last thing she wanted to was sit and try dwelling on the memory loss. She didn't even know if it was possible to get the memory back at this point.
Sitting in her seat on the bus, she watched as the “Welcome to San Luis Obispo!” sign passed on the side of the road into the darkness behind them. A breath of somewhat relief escaped her lips as she turned to face forward in the seat again. Unlocking the new phone she had been given, she quickly typed out a journal entry on the slayers blogs and hoped for a response soon. When Aaron was the first one to respond, her heart almost stopped beating in her chest. The one person that had already been through so much was now asking questions that she didn't have questions to.
After responding to his messages, she jerked forward gently when the bus came to a complete stop at the bus station. Grabbing her bag, she exited the vehicle and seemed to be the only one getting off here. When outside, she watched as the large shuttle took off into the night, leaving her alone on the side of the road. Taking another deep breath, she grabbed the only bag she had with her and started on her slow lonely walk home. If home was even there still. She had called and text Mirko so many times trying to let him know she was coming home and had gotten no response at all.
Was he alive? Was he dead? The two main questions that were poised on the front of her mind. She would find out soon enough. When she got home.
Hearing the phone go off with a notification one more time, she opened it quickly seeing that a watcher was on their way to retrieve her from the station. Where was Mirko? Why wasn't he the one coming to get her? She wanted her watcher to be here. Why wasn't he answering her? The feeling in her stomach getting worse the more she thought about it.
