Bobby hadn't slept for a long time since the underwater trip had started, Between icing up the observation car, helping with small leaks and breaches, and icing up vulnerable areas, he had somehow found the hours speeding by. He'd gone back to check on the Observation room quite a few times, and he was there again, now. He paced the room, his senses extended as far as they would go into the outer water. Somehow, by using his powers so much, he was discovering new things. He'd figured out what he could sense in water, at least a little ways, and control it, at least a little.
Somehow, he could sense things out there, somewhere, closer now. He had no idea what they were, but... yeah. It made him uneasy. With the water around, and with the constantly running around and all, he felt... tired. He'd never felt this tired before.
Bobby came out of his wonder at the forms outside, and concentrated as somewhere he felt something off. Aha! He turned as he felt a small part of the ice structure weaken from the pressure, and he raised his arms, tired as he was and drew on the water outside, and the cold, and channeled a careful blast to reinforce that section. He sank down to rest, looking outward into the water and wishing, really, that this would be over.
He could hang on, he knew, and he would, but... yeah. He missed home, and his friends, and Dawn, too. He hadn't stopped for more than a hello and a kiss the whole time this water thing had been going on. And yes, he knew, really that it had been only a couple of days. He just wondered how long this would last. Then he chuckled and stood, grinning, and he felt himself relax. Ice rolled over him as he stood, and he drew it in, breathing deep, before letting go. All across the room, the ice glittered, and grew clear, even transparent, taking on a greater hardness and strength.
Bobby smiled. He'd be alright. The whole train would be. He knew that.
