Status: On going, closed
This was getting to be a habit now, although admittedly it was Sherlock that had found Annie when she'd been upset in the past rather than her actively going to him, but it amounted to the same thing, an upset Annie very nearly crying on his shoulder. She was trying so hard to keep it together, but every week just seemed to bring something new, some new attempt at breaking her. The arrival of George had made her happier than she could imagine, but apparently he wasn't the only person from back home that been picked up by the train. She couldn't talk to Mitchell about what Hal had said, she hadn't even mentioned his arrival to him yet, because he she didn't want to upset him, not when he finally seemed properly happy.
So once again she was turning to Sherlock, the person that had quickly become her best friend on the train. Someone that seemed to understand her, despite the fact she was dead, and that listened. She knew this was probably why Mitchell wasn't exactly his biggest fan but what could she do? Just keep everything in until it all go too much and she accidentally blew up the train?
Knocking on the day she waited, her ever so perfect fake smile firmly in place, perhaps she wouldn't even say anything, perhaps all she needed was a distraction and there was plenty going on to talk about it. They were suddenly underwater for a start, something else she wasn't so keen on.
