Lily hadn't ever thought she'd be so very pleased to see one of her brothers. Not that she disliked him by any means, but she had grown up with him and they did have a whole sibling thing going on. She loved her brother, but that didn't mean she wanted him around all the time. Still, having been essentially alone here, it was awkward to not have anyone who could really understand what it was like to have a parent who had been around to raise you now being your age. Or to having an uncle who seemed to go out of his way to avoid you because you knew the future and he didn't want to. She'd been contently sprawled out on a couch no one was currently using in a room no one was really in when she saw Al's post on the network. Of course she'd replied, because she meant to warn him about everyone else that was here before he heard it some other way. Granted, her blurting it out probably wasn't going to be the very best way ever, but there it was. Tucking her phone into her pocket, Lily hurried down the corridor toward the sleeper car he was in. She rapped on his door once in warning before letting herself in. It was her brother's room, and who cared who else was staying in it at the moment? He hadn't mentioned anyone else being there, so she'd assume he was alone. "It's about time you showed up," she said as she looked around to see where he was. |
