Possible spoilers for Scream 2 for those that don't know the series. Summary: Sidney relives Ghostface via hallucination, cue meltdown Status: Open, ongoing
Sidney could not sleep thanks to a nightmare so she decided to see if anything was going on in the parlor car. She figured company would be more fun (or at the least more amusing people watching) but as she stopped at the kitchen for some tea she had no idea her past was about to haunt her anew. Sidney grabbed her usual perch next to one of the windows (after making sure nobody could sneak up from behind), notebook in hand when it happened.
Ghostface had somehow made it onboard.
"What's your favorite scary movie? Oh and I loved watching one of your best friends die at my hands." the voice hissed in her ear. Nobody beyond a select few knew how hard she had been hit by losing Randy. He understood her and he stood by her during the first round of killings, that meant something.
"I am going to make sure you burn this time. You have nobody around who can help this time. You are alone and worthless Sidney Prescott!" the voice was having a field day cracking Sidney's fragile state of mind. Sidney wanted to scream, anything to make the voice stop but she was frozen in her seat. She was also fighting back the tears, tears she had shoved back while fighting back against Ghostface only months before. But Ghostface was still tearing her apart with every word. "You deserve every second of this, I will make sure you pay for everything!" the voice was screaming this time. That was when the voice made her relive Randy's murder by mere words,"I slashed him to ribbons and you know what? I got my revenge against the freak and torn you up in the process. Dumping him in the van was just icing on the cake. Now that is my idea of fun. Emotional demo derby via horror movie cliches."
Sidney finally snapped and screamed,"You will not burn me Ghostface, I have a gun and I will fight back! I will make you pay for everything, especially for killing my mother and Randy!" as she fought off the tears.
But as fast as Ghostface showed up he was gone.
Sidney had been screaming at nothing and the tears broke past her emotional walls, falling harder as she slumped against the booth. "Randy.." she whispered,"They did pay for what they did, I know that much. But it hurts all over again." she was getting out in spurts.
But by now she had no idea she had left the door of the car open...
