Marian had been ready to make a run for more food items, and perishables. And possibly a few things that might be needed over time. The idea to plump up the stores to over flowing had been far to tempting. She knew no one could complain if they were over stocked rather than running out. She hadn't met the woman face to face but Lily was bloody brilliant if she had to say so herself.
She tucked two pillowcases in the band of her trousers. She was really beginning to like the more modern style of dress. The pants were comfortable, the dresses too. Everything seemed to fit perfectly without tailoring. Even the corsets were more comfortable, she had opted to go with bras instead though. She hadn't resisted a few corsets that were made out of satin and lace. They were to pretty to pass up. If Robin knew her thinking, no doubt he would laugh at her.
On top of all that, there was also the need to get away from Guy. There was no need to tempt him, there was no need to taunt him. And he surely didn't need to find out she had been the Night Watchman, if he didn't know already.
Marian was just glancing behind her trying to be sure she had not forgotten anything, when she very nearly collided with a redheaded young woman. "Oh I'm sorry! Do excuse me."
