Emma had learned how to listen rather well because she never wanted someone to sneak up on her when she was living on the streets or when she was stealing some food just to eat for the night. She heard the footsteps, but when someone said her name she turned around quickly with a look like a deer caught in the headlights. How did this woman know her name? Was Neal caught with the watches and this woman was here to talk to her about it? Or maybe she saw Emma take the watches out of the locker at the train station. Though she wasn’t in the system for anything criminal she had no idea if they could look into her based on her records from the foster system and that was how she knew Emma’s name. Since Emma couldn’t remember any female officers in the station where the watches had been. As scared as she was on the inside, she didn’t allow herself to hide it. Emma was a brave person considering she had to be when she was stealing or when Neal and her were tricking someone so they could steal a few things. “Excuse me? I think you have me mistaken for someone else,” she lied through her teeth. Emma didn’t know this woman and wasn’t going to allow this chick to take her for a fool. Did she really look that stupid? Her time on the streets taught her that she had to make sure she had the upper hand cause then they could get her into trouble or if she did know about what Neal and her did then she could try to use it. “How do you know this Emma?” She asked, hoping to get an idea of who this woman was or how she knew Emma because she didn’t know her.
