Emma found the whole rooming situation to be awkward with the new room change. Her in a room with a bunk bed? That was a joke, but at least she knew that if someone showed up in her room that she didn’t have to share a bed with them. Henry was so far away from her, the huntsman was in the room next to her, which was nice even if she wanted to be sharing a room with him. They had talked about sharing a room together, but they hadn’t done anything about sharing a room. He crashed in her bed most nights but the train wasn’t adding his name to her door for some reason. It was weird for Emma to find herself actually letting her walls down, but the huntsman was proving that he did care for her. That was something she had never had before causing her to start to let her guard down. For once, Emma had to admit that her life was going rather well between having her son who wanted to be with her and get to know her even when she gave him up at birth, her parents were around even if Emma was having some issues with that, and she finally had a man that cared for her. The fact she was now technically 29 years old bugged her a bit, but she had people around for once. When she woke up, Emma had gone about her day like normal with a long hot shower before deciding to go next door to see if the huntsman wanted anything cause Emma was going to the kitchen. Leaving her room, she moved right next door and at the sight of the door her heart stopped for a moment. No, that had to be wrong! Emma felt like everything was crashing down around her at seeing the huntsman name gone off the door. When? How? Okay, she knew how this stupid train. If he was going to stay in winter wonderland he would have said bye to her. He knew the issues of trust and that she didn’t let people in so she knew he wouldn’t have bailed on her. No, that meant the train decided to send the huntsman home to where he had nothing going for him cause he was dead. Regina made sure that he would have nothing back home since she had crushed his heart. Closing her eyes, she felt sick to know that the man she was finally starting to trust was gone. Once again she was left like she always was even if he didn’t ask to be taken, she still felt like he had left her like everyone else. With seeing his name gone, she moved down the train first to make sure that Henry was still on the train. A sigh of relief left her lips even though she knew the boy was alive in their world, she didn’t want to lose him when she was here. Regina was still here causing her to roll her eyes, but the next stop caused her to feel the same way she did when she saw the huntsman name gone. Her parents room. Charming and Snow were both gone causing Emma to suck on her bottom lip before heading back to her room she saw that Belle was gone as well. Belle and her weren’t close, but she knew the woman wasn’t going back to anything good. Though that wasn’t on her mind at the moment. What was on her mind was the fact that both of her parents had been sent back to their times cause both came from different points in time. Henry wanted to get to know his grandparents and right now he wouldn’t get that chance unless they got sent home. Emma knew she should go break the bad news to Henry, but she needed to be alone for the moment. Alone? That was all Emma ever was because no one stayed around. Something had to be wrong with her because no one wanted her and the people who thought they did just ended up leaving her. Slamming her door to her room, she felt her eyes watering as she fought back the tears. How was this fair? Emma knew the train was a sick bastard but she had suffered enough in her life. No parents, no home, no family, no one to look out for her, and no one that loved her. Finally she was starting to have the stuff she never had only it was all ripped away once again. Regina was going to enjoy knowing more of her enemies were gone, but Emma would tear her a new one if she tried anything while on this train. As tough as Emma acted, she was still quite broken and everything that was going great in her life was close to gone. Only thing she had left in her life that was good would be her son. Henry was all she had, but Emma had to admit the thing that shocked her the most was that she believed Henry was all she needed. This was a huge change from the teenager who gave him up because she was afraid of screwing him up or the woman that when he showed up ten years later thought about how she had no place in his life considering she was a walking mess. Yes, she was still a mess, but she would do anything for Henry. Breaking down in front of people wasn’t an option for Emma because she felt that made her look weak. The last thing she ever wanted was to look weak. Moving over to her box of items, she picked up the baby blanket that was sent from fairy tale world with her and moved to her bed. Emma fell back on her bed as she curled up with her baby blanket, shutting her eyes as she felt herself crying. This was all her fault. Emma knew how the train sent people back all the time and she had kept herself from getting to know her parents in fear of being rejected. Now it was too late. Emma knew she would have to go see Henry at some point, but right now she wanted to be alone where she could cry without being judged or seen as weak. |
