When she saw the hovering, cloaked figure, Jaime was not surprised. Disappointed, sad, angry, and frustrated yes … but not surprised. She regarded it as it began to drift toward her, and in a moment, her wand was up, a silvery dove bursting from the tip of it. The Dementor swerved away from the dove, swaying as it tried to dodge before it eventually retreated into the next car. “What I wouldn’t give for a way to destroy you,” she muttered as she proceeded down the hallway. They were keeping some windows open, and she knew there was one two cars up. Plus, they seemed to get sucked right out of the open air car, so there was that too. That, unfortunately, was several cars behind her. Still, she and her dove managed to chase it out one of the open windows -- and she knew it would be back. Because this was the train, and this was how the train rolled. Irritation was plain on her features as she watched her dove flutter madly around before settling on the back of a chair. Jaime flopped down into one herself, keeping an ear out for any sounds of a Dementor, or for her “pager” to go off. |
